Terms v2026.07
Terms of service

The rules of the road, in writing.

Using PremiumGuardHQ means agreeing to a small number of clear rules about what the platform does, what it does not do, and how the relationship ends if you decide it should. This is that document.

Acceptance and use

By creating an account, connecting a broker, uploading a CSV, or otherwise using PremiumGuardHQ, you agree to be bound by these terms and by the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least eighteen years old and legally permitted to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. The service is intended for use in the United States.

What PremiumGuardHQ is

PremiumGuardHQ is an analytics platform for self-directed options traders. It reads transaction data from brokers you authorize (Schwab via OAuth, Interactive Brokers via Flex Web Service token, or CSV upload), runs cycle detection and cost-basis math against that data, and surfaces the results on a dashboard.

What PremiumGuardHQ is not

  • Not a broker-dealer. We do not hold custody of your funds or securities.
  • Not an investment adviser registered with the SEC or any state regulator.
  • Not a FINRA or SIPC member. SIPC coverage does not apply to us.
  • Not a trade execution venue. We never place orders, transfers, or any other instruction on your behalf.
  • Not a tax adviser. Our outputs are calculations, not tax guidance.

Your broker holds your capital and executes your trades. We read transaction history with your permission and show you what the numbers say. Every decision you make about your portfolio remains yours.

Account registration and brokers

Your account

You must provide accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are personal and limited to one individual; do not share your login.

Broker connections

You may connect a supported broker so that PremiumGuardHQ can read your transaction history. The current supported paths are:

  • Charles Schwab via OAuth 2.0. Scopes are limited to accounts:read and transactions:read. We do not receive your username, password, or 2FA codes.
  • Interactive Brokers via Flex Web Service token that you generate inside IBKR Account Management. Read-only by design.
  • CSV upload using the Schwab transaction-history format or the IBKR Activity Statement format. Auto-detected on upload.

All broker connections are read-only. PremiumGuardHQ does not place orders, transfer funds, modify positions, or send any instruction to a broker on your behalf. You can disconnect any broker at any time from Settings, and you can revoke tokens directly with the broker.

De-identified aggregate data

You retain all rights to your own trade data. You grant PremiumGuardHQ a perpetual, royalty-free right to create de-identified, aggregated statistics from the trade data you sync or upload, combined with data from other users, and to use, publish, and share those statistics, including in commercial products and with commercial partners. For example: the number of traders running wheel cycles on a given ticker, or the median outcome across those cycles.

That right comes with safeguards we bind ourselves to. Aggregate statistics never include your name, email, account identifiers, or broker credentials, and never include any individual trade, position, or balance. Any statistic we publish or share outside the product must be computed across at least five distinct traders. Your individual data is never sold or shared with anyone. Because these aggregates contain nothing traceable to you, this right survives account deletion for statistics already created; your underlying data is still deleted as described in section 7.

Subscriptions, trial, and billing

Free trial

New accounts receive a 14-day trial of Pro-tier access at no cost and with no credit card required. After the trial expires, accounts default to the Free tier unless you choose to subscribe.

Pro subscription

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel at any time from Settings or through the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not issue partial-period refunds.

Price changes

We may revise pricing for future billing periods. Existing subscribers will be notified before any change takes effect. Continued use after a price change means you accept the new pricing for the next billing period.

6.0

Data accuracy and reconciliation

PremiumGuardHQ’s outputs are derived from the transaction data your broker provides and from real-time price data we receive through Finnhub. We engineer for correctness and document our methodology on the methodology page, but we cannot guarantee the absence of errors.

You should treat the dashboard as a tool, not an authoritative record. Cross-reference cycle classifications, P&L figures, and withdrawal recommendations against your broker statements before acting on them. If you spot a discrepancy, email support@premiumguardhq.com and we will investigate.

Live quote data is best-effort and is provided for situational awareness only. It is not suitable for execution decisions and should never be treated as the price at which a trade will fill.

7.0

Account deletion and our liability

Deletion

You can request account deletion at any time from Settings. For paid subscribers, deletion is scheduled for the end of the current billing period and full access is retained until that date. For Free tier accounts, deletion is immediate. The full mechanics are documented on the security page.

Limitation of liability

PremiumGuardHQ is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither PremiumGuardHQ, its parent entity Medium Rare Enterprises, nor any of its officers, employees, contractors, or affiliates will be liable for trading losses, missed opportunities, calculation errors, data inaccuracies, service interruptions, or any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the platform.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing law, changes, and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these terms or the service will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

We may revise these terms from time to time. Material revisions will be posted to this page with an updated “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notified by email. Continued use of the service after a revision means you accept the revised terms.

Questions about these terms or about the service generally: support@premiumguardhq.com.
